cabin accommodations

we’ve reserved approximately 80 accommodation spots at mansfield outdoor centre, a 10-minute drive from the wedding venue.

the accommodations are camp-style cabins: simple, cozy, and (we think) a fun way to keep the celebration going all weekend.

what the cabins are like

rustic cabins are one room open layout with bunk beds and are not fitted with kitchen or kitchenette.

cabins vary in size and accommodate anywhere from 5 - 10 people.

cabin groupings are gender and age neutral.

cabins are outfitted with heaters and have electricity.

all cabins have 24-hour access to our indoor washrooms and shower building located central to all cabins.

pillows, bedding, towels and toiletries are not provided, so please be sure to pack your own. 

traveling from far away or flying in? don't bring sheets/pillows on the plane: let us know & we’ll help figure something out!

pets are permitted to stay with their parents. 

transportation & parking

mansfield outdoor centre is located about a 10-minute drive from the wedding venue (avening community centre).

parking is available on site for guests staying in the cabins or camping.

we’re still sorting out transportation details for wedding weekend and will share more information closer to the date.

your stay

we have the cabins reserved for friday and saturday night. to keep things simple, all cabin bookings are for the full two-night stay.

check-in: friday, august 21, after 6:30 PM
check-out: sunday, august 23, by 1:00 PM

based on everyone’s survey responses, we’ve done our best to assign people to cabins with friends, family, partners, or familiar faces.

because of cabin sizes and numbers, some guests may end up sharing with a few people they don’t know yet. if that applies to you, we’ll reach out directly before confirming anything to make sure you’re comfortable with the arrangement.

food options available outside of wedding include the pine river café & public house which is located at mansfield steps away from the cabins. hours: friday: 11am – 9 pm; saturday and sunday: 9am – 5pm (breakfast is served on the weekend until 11:00am).

cost

the cost is $50 per person for the full two-night stay.
