2:30pm - guest arrival - avening community centre
aim to arrive at the avening community centre for 2:30pm. please park here.

3:00pm - ceremony - carruthers memorial conservation area
ceremony will take place outdoors (weather permitting) at carruthers memorial conservation area, a 3 minute walk from the avening community centre. please do not park here as their is very limited parking.

4:00pm-ish onwards - reception - avening community centre (acc)
after the ceremony, stick around for drinks, chats, music, and general good vibes before dinner.

dinner and speeches at 6:30pm: we will try our best to accommodate all dietary restrictions.

after dinner the party begins: open bar, live music, dancing, bowling, late-night snacks.

midnightish - afterparty - mansfield outdoor centre
once it's too late to make anymore noise at the avening community centre, a shuttle(s) will be available to to take guests back to the cabin accommodations. at mansfield outdoor centre, a 10-minute drive from the avening community centre.

 there, the party continues: bonfire, late-night jams, more drinks, more chats.

note: mansfield is remote, and there's no more transportation available from here.

if you plan on coming to the afterparty please arrange to stay at manfield: tents are an option.

parking & locations

parking is available at the avening community centre, though space is somewhat limited. guests staying at mansfield outdoor centre cabins are strongly encouraged to leave vehicles at mansfield and carpool or shuttle to the avening community centre, helping us save parking space for guests who are not staying overnight.

 an early night and late night shuttle will be available from the avening community centre back to mansfield.

guests staying at mansfield are welcome to arrive friday evening 6:30pm onwards and settle in for the weekend.

accommodations

we’ve reserved cabin accommodations at mansfield outdoor centre, located a short drive from the wedding festivities. guests who expressed interest in cabins will receive a separate email with accommodation details and confirmation information.

tent camping near the cabins at mansfield is also be available: feel free to reach out if that’s something you’d be interested in.

guests looking for other accommodation, there are options (however limited) in the surrounding area, including:

what should i wear?
get dressed up with us! think formal, floral, outdoorsy, vintage dance hall.

 our ceremony will be outdoors, and portions of the celebration may take place outside as well, so please keep weather and footwear in mind, especially for grass, gravel, uneven ground, dancing, wandering, etc.

Wwhat if it rains?
if the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll move the ceremony indoors to the avening community centre.

will there be food & drinks?
absolutely.

we’ll have dinner, an open bar, and late-night snacks.

dietary accommodations can be indicated through your rsvp (coming soon)

are children and dogs welcome?
yes, very much so.

accessibility?
avening community centre is fully accessible, however carruther's memorial conservation area (ceremony) and mansfield outdoor centre (accommodations and after party) are primarily outdoor venues and as such have limited accessibilty.
